Members of the Meigs County Agricultural Society Board of Directors (aka Fair Board) are elected to three year terms. The are volunteers. The spend countless hours working on the fairgrounds, preparing and planning for each fair, working on sponsorships, promoting of fair and other tasks too numerous to name.
In an effort to remember the years of dedication and service to the community through the Meigs County Fair, we are working on gathering information and listing fair board members. This part of a long term project to record the history of the fair which began in 1851. It has been held every year except for years of war and financial hardships.
